The Light-Sheet Image Analysis Workshop is a five-day intensive course that will take place in Santiago, Chile, from January 5–9, 2026, designed for students and researchers who wish to gain foundational skills in the processing and analysis of light-sheet microscopy imaging data.

Französische Texte flirren durch ein 70er-Jahre-Universum aus traumwandlerischen Melodien, warmen Bassläufen und analogem Charme. Die Band erschafft Klanglandschaften, in denen sich Vergangenheit und Zukunft berühren – irgendwo zwischen Science-Fiction-Soundtrack und Krautrock-Tagtraum. Ideal für Nächte, in denen die Zeit verschwimmt.

BODY FARM (Rust Belt, OH/PA, USA)

Body Farm started with the simple goal of trying to play as fast as possible. Their first lineup with members Ocean, Erek, Alex, and Steven met on vocals, guitar, bass, and drums to produce two 7” releases, a split and an EP. Body Farm continued their devoted output and performance schedule, recording demos on lathe cuts and tapes that would become a 12” EP called Living Hell. After touring for Living Hell, Ocean and Erek moved to Pittsburgh, splitting the band’s location with Columbus. With 2023 marking Body Farm’s first show as partial PA residents, 2024 would bring new bassist, Darrell. Vocally, Ocean draws on X-Ray Spex, Plasmatics, and Alice Bag, providing a reverb drenched holler that effectively is their calling card. There is a specificity in Body Farm’s songs that sets them apart from their peers, and you hear it as soon as you press play.

Join us the evening of July 25 for an exciting talk on The Mysteries of Black Holes with guest speaker Maxime Van De Moortel.
Maxime Van de Moortel has always been fascinated by the large structures of the universe, especially mysterious objects like black holes. In 2019, he earned a PhD at the University of Cambridge in the department of the legendary Stephen Hawking and subsequently held a postdoctoral position at Princeton University. Today, he's an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, where he investigates the secrets of gravity using differential equations to understand what happens inside these incredible black holes.
