Phew! #ObliquePalette prototype 0.5.5 (the ninth prototype in two years — one of them wasn’t built because we found a catastrophic error last moment) looks to be ready for manufacturing! Things could actually be correct here!

Really looking forward to teaching #programming and #sounddesign and #computerart with Oblique technologies! I want to see what patches people integrate into their #eurorack rigs! I want to see robots & environmental control!

I have just released the VCVRack version of my new Eurorack module. It's a direct spectral synthesis VCO and is a lot of fun. It has an 8 octave range and allows tons of modulation. The hardware version is pretty much ready to go but with tariffs and logistics I am not quite ready for a production run. If you are interested info is here gregsbrain.co/dspec.html

I have PCB's and parts for some DIY kits. Ping me via my website for info.

Clicking randomly on #YouTube I came across an old #180fact patch notes video of 🇫🇷 #modularsynth composer: #HeleneVogelsinger

Checked the interwebs for any recent work, and not only was her 4th album 'Reappearance' 🌄 recently released, she also joined #Mastodon :mastodon: just a couple of months ago! 🤯 However, her @helenevogelsinger has no followers, so next to listening to her #ambient #modular #synth #electronicmusic, could you also give her a follow on here please? 🙏

This feels so unreal, I’ve done a lot of stuff before but print still hits different.
Four pages about my rack, modules and the #midiTracker in the German „Synthesizer Magazin“, I had a lovely time with Heiner interviewing me. I’m happy that he was so interested in the DIY sequencer/tracker, and they put some Wir’s directly on the other two pages so readers can check out videos and the repo.

This Wednesday at the Regal Beagle in #ypsilanti is the Fallout Shelter Takeover produced by Gear Lords. Four artists producing live hardware-based techno.

I'm opening with an hour set of all-improvised techno/electronic music.

This show will probably run the gamut of slightly wonky, experimental electronic music. Some of it danceable, some of it complex, all of it interesting. Plus there will be visuals.

Cash only bar!
