Resounding win at #TerraformingMars for me tonight. This is the most full we've ever seen the board. On the final round, I used my very last colored cube. This is also the most rounds we've played. We had a pretty slow start, but I had a card that let me sacrifice power plants for terraforming rating, and that proved really powerful.

So WHY does the quickstart feature combat rules, but not social conflict rules?

Played a game of #terraformingmars over the weekend with my wife and son. I had a solid lead in TR most of the game, which made me overconfident towards the end. Once the final scores came in, I found that my son destroyed my final score after getting 30+ points from his cards! #boardgames #boardgaming

I'm in a hotel for one night for work and packed a few solo games. I haven't played TM:AE in a while so I decided to play it first. Wow, I forgot how brutal it can be. I was nowhere near completely terraforming Mars before the rounds ended.
It was still fun even though I did horrible.
