Underneath the Abbey of SS Naborre and Felice is where you can find St. Zama's Crypt. It has been a lot of things over the years (for example at one stage it was a Military Hospital and a Lazaret) During the 3rd century, in this site, there already existed the first and most important Christian center. It is said that the first archibishop of Bologna, Saint Zama, around the year 270, had improved the preexisting church, dedicating it to St. Peter. It also used to house the bodies of the first bishops - but they are no longer there!

On ne se rend pas compte des durées géologiques pour sculpter une telle cascade. Le nombre de gouttes d’eau qui ont glissées en déposant molécules après molécules de minerais pour finir par donner un véritable œuvre naturelle. Le plus triste étant que juste par notre respiration, on ronge la sculpture. Être préservée mais invisible ou bien être admirée et détruite à petit feu ? Je ne sais pas 
We can’t fathom the geological duration it took to carve such a beauty. The uncountable number of water drops that slide, leaving behind, mineral molecule one after one resulting in a true natural art sculpture. The saddest point being that just by our breath, we’re corroding it away. To be preserve but unseen or being admired and slowly destroyed? I don’t know
