I have an idea for an #analoghorror series now.

It's bubbling in my head, as I realized watching the the squirrel video that it has the found footage vibe going, and felt like an intro to something insane.

I have gotten quite good at making my #videos look like they're on film or VHS.

I was thinking of making a series where it gets progressively more disturbing, and less funny as it goes on.

I have some ideas.

More are welcome.

I've figured out #youtube - funny animals.

Because I posted the Squirrel video there as well to see what happened, and usually within an hour on YouTube I'll get about 20-40 views, then it will slowly spit me out of the algorithm until I end up with a total of anywhere from 100 to 1000 usually.

Sometimes it won't even do that and I'll end up with 5-50 total views.

Those were usually political.

The squirrel one got 300 in less than an hour.

My creativity has a strange pattern.

I will become more creative if I am in either a very calm place where my mind is mostly free of stress, and there is solid stability to my life, or when I am in extreme circumstances to cope because there is absolutely nothing else I can do, so I find a way to distract myself.

I don't seem to be very creative in periods of transition where it's stressful, but not nightmarish.

This is a calm phase, finally.

I am tentatively going to get back into posting videos on #scoopz again.

I am going to a park, and I am going to make something silly to refresh my editing and ranting at a camera ability.

Maybe one #video a day will due as I was definitely obsessing and burning myself out with it because like three videos a day is definitely unsustainable.

Though I'm still impressed I managed to get a million views in like two-three months O.o

FOSS NEWS

Odysee presents new AR-based payment system, discontinues Stripe payment and LBC content boosting:
odysee.com/@Odysee:8/introduci
(Discontinuing LBC support probably means the platform won't be connected to the LBRY blockchain anymore. Also, content discoverability will be hurt pretty much, even if creators can get monetized, smaller creators will have a much harder time being discovered. I get that their new parent company Arweave is probably forcing them to switch to their crypto stuff and ditch LBRY, but it will probably just hurt the platform in the long run, especially because the new payment system requires signing up to an additional service, which many people are not a big fan of.)

Tis done 🎉
My #youtube channel, formerly known as BlindlyCoding, is now named ViewpointUnseen. This allows me to broaden the content on that channel to include a lot more different types of content, from tutorials for the #blind from a #blindness perspective, tech reviews from that same perspective, #gaming streams as well as reaction content when I find sufficient things to react to.
I think there's a lot of value I can offer to the world at large with stuff that's currently locked inside my head and having a bit more time during the work week allows me to spend more time on #contentCreation. Screen reader tutorials? Hacking streams? Videogames? Reviewing pieces of tech and supplying #accessibility recommendations to users AND developers/creators? Yes, all of that and more. Stay tuned!

Calling #blind mastodon. Anyone have tips, resources, or knowledge of how to make videos as a blind person, with a bias towards mac? Not merely recording them, but video editing, such as backing tracks, voice dubbing, transitions etc? Partner @RainbowRemedy wants to get into doing YouTube creation and is stumped with how to make them. As I said, Mac is preferred, iMovie/final cut/etc. REAPER if we must, but I've heard its video workflow is terrible. And it doesn't come with stock transitions anyway AFAIK. Help is appreciated! #video #ContentCreation #youtuber @mastoblind
