Hey fellow diy techies ! Has anyone had this problem before ? heh i left leaking batteries on it too often for too long and the corrosion ate the pocket operators battery compartment. Im pretty used to it at the gigs as an instant (smallest in the world?) drum machine core on my "no guitar" thing (still in plans to film a video about it by a wish of the audience).
Basically i researched a bit (and dont wanna ask AI ) but so far not sure what is a good fix is. Soldering any other external two AAA battery compartment doesnt seem to work or i dont get how to wire + and - to pocket operator system as its battery placement are ++ and -- (not as it is usually on for example bike lights (+- and +-). And it has to be small and portable. Maybe someone has a good trick to show please? Maybe there is a super simple solution outthere? Or is there a usb powered device possible?
