I cleared the first full dungeon with a playtesting party with no healer. The boss was rough and not a sure win, but I made it. I did a few trials on the boss and won most of the time, but barely. Now to see if I can handle the real game with this party

Finished processing playtester reports and transcripts from the second round of #playtesting for my #IFComp 2024 #interactiveFiction / #textAdventure #game. I had 107 things to fix after the first round of playtesting. Including major structural reworking. This time it's just 53 things, much easier, and I've already done 11. I will work on remaining fixes over next couple of weeks. Then enter the game into the competition. Enormous thanks to my marvellous playtesters. #GameDev #IndieGames #Games

I'm entering a new #interactiveFiction #textAdventure #game in #IFComp next month. Have had huge help from some wonderful playtesters, helping me smooth the playing experience. Today my husband is playtesting for me. I am very nervous! He's played IF games since the 1990s, but erm yup. I'm currently avoiding the study where he is.
