The #economy is⬆️depn on a small sliver of superstar cos. & wealthy consumers to stay afloat bc: only firms & fams able to withstand the #tariffs. A highly conc economy⬆️the risk of a downturn +will leave many mid-class Americans frustrated & strained.

Growing# of INDs have transitioned🚨from weak hiring to #layoffs. In the past 3 months, MFG, prof & bus svcs, mining, resi const, WHs, K-12 EDU, fed govt, & even retailers have been💔CUTTING JOBS.

Cuts 6,000 employees in May.

Cuts 9,000 employees in June.

Enjoys a $27 billion dollar quarterly profit.

Reason for job cuts: AI making positions redundant.

CFO sends email asking remaining employees for "intensity" in their work.

So... AI not really working out huh? Given that there were job cuts, AI was added and still need to ask remaining employees to work harder.
