The dozen councilors include three renters, five people of color, six women, eight millennials (one only 28 years old), and residents of twelve different neighborhoods. Most importantly, proportional representation paved the way for a council that reflects Portlanders’ varied political beliefs, full of advocates for different viewpoints from business to labor, from moderates to progressives, and even from animal rights to transportation safety."

@pinhman @Crispius My riding is a stronghold for the NDP and I would really hope the Liberals would not waste a good candidate by running one against her. I think the NDP and Liberals should work together and not split votes needed to defeat the Cons. Minority governments work well together. The last sitting of parliament has proven this to be true. I would really prefer #prorep but….. you know.
